TIFTON, Ga.—The holiday season is upon us and the Georgia Peanut Holiday Gift Box is ready. Gift boxes are available now until Christmas at the Georgia Peanut Commission in Tifton, Ga. or the Southwest Georgia Boy Scouts in Albany, Ga.
“ Peanut gift boxes make an excellent Christmas present and at a great price,” says Marcus Evans, project coordinator. “Only a limited number of gift boxes will be available this year so don’t wait, order today.”

The 2007 Peanut Gift Box includes delicious Georgia peanut products packaged into an attractive Holiday Box that is an ideal gift for employees, business associates or customers. This year’s peanut products include boiled peanuts, roasted/salted peanuts, peanut butter, gourmet peanut roll, peanut crickle, pop crickle and chocolate peanut delights. All proceeds go to support the Boy Scouts in Southwest Georgia. The box is available for $14.00 including sales tax. Shipping costs are extra.

The gift boxes can be picked up at both the Georgia Peanut Commission, 110 East 4th Street, Tifton, Ga., and the Southwest Georgia Boy Scout Council, 1519 Mitchell Avenue, Albany, Ga. Individual shipments can be arranged through the Boy Scouts office in Albany by telephone (229) 436-7226 or FAX (229) 436-7228. The Georgia Peanut Commission handles pick-up sales only.
