Donations Accepted for Peanut Proud & Feeding Georgia - A partnership to benefit the Georgia Association of Food Banks
The Georgia Peanut industry established the “Peanut Proud & Feeding Georgia” program to help feed the 1.29 million persons in poverty in Georgia. Through this unique effort you or your organization/business can help feed needy Georgians with a healthy snack packed full of protein – Peanut Butter. The Georgia Peanut Commission, National Peanut Buying Points Association, American Peanut Shellers Association, Georgia Farm Bureau and fourteen businesses and individuals have already donated 28,224 jars of peanut butter to the Food Bank of Southwest Georgia in Albany and the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank in Macon.
