to benefit the Georgia Association of Food Banks
The
Georgia Peanut industry established the “Peanut Proud & Feeding
Georgia” program to help feed the 1.29 million persons
in poverty in Georgia. Through this unique effort you or your
organization/business can help feed needy Georgians with a
healthy snack packed full of protein – Peanut Butter.
The Georgia Peanut Commission, National Peanut Buying Points
Association, American Peanut Shellers Association, Georgia
Farm Bureau and fourteen businesses and individuals have already
donated 28,224 jars of peanut butter to the Food Bank of Southwest
Georgia in Albany and the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank
